Default 80 Power Antenna Cable

I have a power antenna that is missing the main cable that goes from the radio to the antenna. I've searched all the corvette vendors and the antenna cables all say "non-power". I haven't been able to find anywhere that lists a cable for a power antenna. Are power antenna cables as rare as gold or what? Anyone know where I can get one? Any help would be appreciated.

Try a "power antenna installation kit". They seem to have the cable in it you want. No idea why no one lists it separately.

You can cut off the funky connector cylindrical thing on the new one and properly splice the two coaxial ends together from your original (power) antenna cable. That's what I did. But, you have a good point.

Antz - Thanks for the advice. I'll do some looking for installation kits, maybe I'll find something.

Lakeside49 - Unfortunately I don't have most of the original cable to splice on to, it's completely gone. What I do have is approximately 2 feet of the cable that goes from the antenna through into the cabin. It ends at a factory screw connection that was disconnected. I'm guessing the original was actually two cables? One short section that was screwed on to the long piece that went to the radio. Does that make sense to anyone? I don't know if things have been bubba'd but it doesn't look like it from what I can tell.

Check out the antenna on the right. That's how L79-82s were installed from the factory, with the short co/ax cable and wire connecter through the grommet.
That cable mark79,80 has will work fine. Probably a bit longer than actual Corvette cable but you can snake any extra cable where it's unseen.

Sounds like your car originally had a CB radio. A single cable went from the antenna to the place you mentioned where it fed a splitter. Two cables went to the radio from there.
