Default Corbeau A4 Seat Question

I was just about to buy a pair of Corbeau A4's when I noticed how little clearance there was between my original seats and the t-tops. With the t-tops on and I fold the seat forward, there is only a couple of inches clearance. The A4's have a taller back, will they still be able to fold forward with the t-tops on? Does anyone have the A4's in a coup?

I have a long list as to why I need new seats, I can't see over the steering wheel without putting my briefcase behind the seat to hold it up, and the leather is really uncomfortable in the heat, and with new carpet and everything pretty much refinished in the interior, new seats would really be nice.

Thanks for any info.

Default Re: Corbeau A4 Seat Question (Lil_Vette_Chic)

I'm not sure about clearance for a coupe, but the headrests don't pose a problem for my car with the soft top up. When the seat is pushed fully back, and you flip the seat forward, the side bolsters will hit the seat bottom bolsters, and that is what limits how far the seat back will fold forward. When the seats are moved forward, the headrest will contact convertible top around the sun visors, but it's still the bolster contact that limits how far the seats will fold forward. You might try calling Corbeau for fit information. I found them to be very helpful. I hope this helps.
