Need help with buddy's '69
His '69 vert has a seperate heat shield similar to the usual foil-faced underbody trans tunnel insulator, but we cannot find this piece listed in any of the catalogs. All we can find is the one with the shifter hole, and the foam collar.
This piece is located at the very front of the tunnel, and would appear to be of the same construction as the other. My '74 AIM does not show it, nor does the car have the retainers for it. Perhaps somebody with the '69 AIM can help?
