71 350/270 car. looks like im seeing the heater hoses use the old style "tower" clamps. my question is, do the upper and lower rad hoses use them also. or the later style worm gear clamps?
Pewter-
according to Richard Prince in his restoration guide, your year small block used Sure-Tite brand worm drive clamps for the radiator hoses (size 28), and tower clamps for the heater hoses. They were manufactured by Wittek which also has "WITTEK MFG. CO. CHICAGO U.S.A." stamped into the screw housing.
Hope this is helpful.
