Engine Oil Type
Hi, I want to change out the oil in my 69 427 390, I have heard lots of different advise as to what will be the best choice for an original 427 390 engine, any experience, thoughts or advise would be great.

If GM spec'd 10W-30 for that engine back in '69, then it's still 10W-30 in 2017. I would recommend getting a ZDDP content of +1000. If that was my engine, I wouldn't hesitate to go synthetic.
