THANKS!
I want to take a minute to thank everyone in this forum for all your dedication and help to those in need. This forum has been a major help in getting this project of mine near completion! I especially want to thank Lars Grimsrud for his donation of labor and time to allow a loaner carb program to be conducted here. I have just finished the mechanical work on a frame off restoration, getting ready to drop the body this weekend. Found the engine just would not run worth a darn, tried everything I know to fix it. Lars came to the rescue and sent me a test carb, boy does she run sweet now. All that's left now is to find out why the carb I had wasn't making it, but with so many variables it's really nice to know the problem appears to be only the carb (which I personally rebuilt, guess that doesn't say much). It is my understanding the loaner carbs come from forum members who donate them to this program, and that is why I wanted to say thanks to all of you! :cheers:
