Detect a miss ??
I may have a miss... or this mild cam...or a fouled plug...I have changed lots of things lately. What is the best way to determine? Can an experienced mechanic detect a mild cam? Do I have to pull wire after wire? Or a scope? Could I put my timing lite on each plug wire? Or pull all the plugs? or just what !!! :smash:

Check your distributor and insure you are getting spark on all. Are the plug wires new? How old are the plug wire boots... are they all on tight? If you have headers, you may want to check and insure that they haven't melted (if they are close)

Everything is brand new, maybe only 40 miles, dist, wires, plugs, but after I read your post I remembered one wire got overheated. And the trick of looking for sparks after dark. But not tonight. Bedtime.
