We have a black 1971 Coupe here in DK that gives us some headaches.
The 350 was out, and the block and heads was in a CNC machine.
After reassembling, it is like the engine is running on 7 cylinders.
The engine has new sparkplug, we also tried with my HEI and cables.
It is a std 350, with iron heads, a new hydr cam/lifters. It's a carb engine (that worked fine before)
Before the engine was running "fine" but used oil and water.
We will make a leakdown test next. But what can it else be?
if you pull one plug wire out of the cap at a time and then reinsert can you tell which cylinder is not firing?
have you checked the spark plugs?
valve adjusted too tight?

Hi MelWff
1. I will ask him to try that (he is also reading this thread)
2. All plugs are new.
3. I've ask him about that, and also told him, to make a new adjustment, just to be sure.
new engine install, my bet distributor wiring is not correct.
first thing identify which cylinder is the problem.
your plugs should tell you what is working or not.
