Blower fan DOA. Check all usual fuses.... fuse on drivers side engine well, fuse panel fusable linc behind distributor. I pulled fan and bench tested placing dc power direct and still nothing. Don't want to get new fan if I'm missing something. Maybe a ground somewhere?

You bench tested the fan and it didn't work? But think there may be another problem?

If it won't bench test, it's gone. Any auto parts.
I pulled relay and check out purple wire. Toast! I jumped and crimped another terminal temporarily until I get a new plug. I picked up a used fan and installed. All back to working. But what caused wire to melt plastic plug to the point of meltdown? See pic.
