Hi all, I have an Edelbrock intake manifold on my car installed by the previous owner. I took it off to replace the gaskets.
I noticed the rear water jackets on the heads were completely blocked with corrosion. I also noticed that there is no way for water flow through the intake manifold from the rear water jackets because there is not a opening in the intake manifold there
I am being told this is somewhat common on aftermarket manifolds. I am just trying to confirm that is the case. I don't recall this being the case when I installed a Weiland intake manifold on a different car in the past. I appreciate any comments on this? Thanks.
