Long High Idle
So long story short the high idle on my 77 L48 takes between 5-10 minutes before I can kick it down regardless of ambient temp. The high idle is set correctly, and the thermo choke is set to factory spec (three ticks lean). The choke is slow to open, which would point at a heat riser pipe being broken, but when the car is warming up the air inlet into the choke housing is perfectly warm. Any ideas?
