I wonder what the kit costs. I find it hard to believe that it solves all of the challenges of putting one of those motors into a C3. From the builds I've seen documented it seems like a rather challenging project to get right.
I called josh from custom image corvettes and got everything I needed including all the electronics. I would give him a call, it will probably save you some money too

I remember some time ago, a forum member w/far more skills than I. Said he had over 5K in his conversion. Now that was then, this is much better. Can you give me a ballpark base price? We can always get crazy later. lol
I don't want to run a carb. If I did it, I would want all the stk injection and elect. How about hidden costs and fabrication?
I have seen it done for as little as 1200 to well over 10k. A lot depends on what you want and how well you want it done and how much you do yourself. Your skills are also a big factor. There is no set price. I know withe the motor I have around 13k into it and I have missed a lot of the costs I'm sure. You can get very detailed or have it look like somebody just threw it in there. There is more available now then when I did mine so the fabrication is less.
Gordon is your conversion finished? I know the new Cobra kind of got you distracted for a little bit. Would love to see the finished product if you are done; you were doing an outstanding job, definitely not one of the thrown together conversions.

Are they ever finished? I have been through many engines transmissions and rears and suspensions on this car so it is never done. But to answer your question no it is not completed yet. The cobra is up and running and I am still getting the FI dialed in. I wanted to take a break from building and enjoy the ride for a bit in the cobra. The Vette will get my attention this winter so hope to have it back fully roadworthy next spring. It runs and is driveable but needs the interior back in and a final tune on the computer. To much other life stuff gets in the way but I will complete it.
The kit has some nice parts that justify the price.
But if you're running a stock motor, headers are not needed. 02 Z06 corvette manifolds fit, about $100 and flow nearly as good as headers.
I'm running a griffin radiator, $200, but you need to modify mounting.
Adapter plates, poly mounts, under $100.
Modify your existing crossmember (free), or universal from speedway motors (under $100).
You can modify your existing tank for intank (kits available) or run external. Either way, fuel system would be under $400.
So yeah, it takes some skill and knowledge but you could have everything in that for under $1k.
