Default Pink and Black wire?


i have my steering column out doing some in dash maintenance. The pink and black wire is pulled out of the plug. Does anyone know what this goes to? It is paired with a solid pink wire. 72 coupe Thanks

Hi Olelucky. I have some of the laminated wiring diagrams from the doc. It looks like the black wire is for the "LH Courtesy & Key Warning Switch Conn's" and the Pink wire goes out to your horn relay, I presume for the buzzer in the relay to remind you of the key in the ignition. I've also attached a photo of mine in the car. Some wire colors appear differently, but thinking the orientation should be the same. Mine is a 71. Hope this helps some?
