Default Engine sparking but not starting...timing issue?

Replaced the spark plugs, replaced the distributor and the coil and rotor after testing plugs for spark and found they did spark still no start with starting fluid .????

Check your distributor position, rotor needs to point to #1 wire on the cap when #1 cylinder is at TDC. Do a search on here for details.

I think your distributor is not installed correct.
Do as SH-60B says, and it will fire up again

Do you have point/condensor or electronic ignition? If points, when did you replace the condensor last and if you did, was it a parts store replacement? i ask this because modern Chinese junk condensors fail on a regular basis. This Sunday I had to "rescue" my friend in his '62 that just died on the road. The fix: an NOS Delco condensor made in USA. This was the fourth one that I got running again with the same fix. Just a suggestion.

I had the same problem yesterday. Turns out I was off a tooth on the distributor.
