Small Block with Headers OIL FILTER
I have been using a standard oil filter for my small block but since swapping to headers it seems a bit long and too close to the header collector. What oil filters (brands with numbers please) are you guys using with headers on your small blocks? Thanks!

I use AC DELCO PF1218 on my corvette and camaro (headers on camaro, not on 'vette yet).
The 1218 is larger and has a bit more oil capacity, but if you have space constraints, you can probably use the AC Delco PF454, which I think is the small block recommended filter...check the cross reference for sure...

I use a K&N filter #2002 on my 78 and don't see that it is close to the collector.
The height is 4.6 inches whereas the PF454 gives their dimension at 3.2. The original 78 oil filter calls for a PF25 which I just measured at 4 inches.
