Hey Jim...ran across your thread while looking for aftermarket wheels for our C2. I like the US Mags and considering getting them in 17x7" & 17x8" staggered fitment.
Is your car's suspension or body modified to allow fitment? [ours is not] Thanks

My suspension is essentially stock. I have different upper control arms on the front but that doesn't change anything. I have stock rear trailing arms other than I moved the little emergency brake cable tab years ago to help clearance on tires on inside.
My front fenders are stock....my rears have lip flares.

Hi Jim....thanks for the info, fairly certain I will be good with the U110's in 17x 7&8". I also like Nittos, will see if they have them in the sizes I need.
BTW - what did your car do in the Texas Mile? I see the sign in your pic, but it has 3 numbers. 128mph?

Thanks again for your quick response.
It ran 200 MPH at the TX Mile., That 128 MPH was at the 1/4 mile mark. I was really having to "roll" into it with little traction. The 169 MPH was at the 1/2 mile mark...which was a lot less than when it hit 177 MPH at a different 1/2 mile event on drag radials. At the TX Mile the speed rated tires weren't too sticky and I couldn't put my foot in it until about 180 MPH. It was spinning up 'till then, but was pulling like a freight train at the end...lots left in it.
