Kid in next town bought a...
Real nice Mako shark! I just saw it briefly at a parking lot locally, but I got to talk to him at length. He bought it in Fremont, CA and drove it home. It's based on a '69 BB, and he bought it from the original owner that purchased it new from the dealer, with the Mako kit done at the selling dealer. Original engine replaced with a 454, but otherwise unmolested. Paid 10K for it, and got a pretty cool car out of it, including a matching hardtop, but no convertible top. I'll try and get some pictures...

There was one (Mako Shark Vert) for sale a little while ago here in Miami (based on a 1970)!!!
