From: Who says "Nothing is impossible" ? I've been doing nothing for years.
Update, I went out yesterday with the intention of taking off the front bowl and holding the metering block against the bowl and seeing where the gas was leaking.
I first pulled the number one plug and confirmed it was firing. The engine sputtered a bit like it was going to fire. This was the first time in over a week this has happened.
I went around and looked in the front sight window and sure enough the level was up to where it should be.
I went to start it and I'll be damned if it didn't just fire up. It still a mystery why the front bowl was empty on many previous attempts.
The reason I stated it could be timing was based on the quote below. He states he's getting spark, as well he's manually putting in fuel, therefore it should at least attempt to start if it's getting enough spark and manually getting fuel.
We know that for "whatever reason" his front bowl seemed to be pissing fuel into the intake as fast as it was coming into it. That would create a flooding condition similar to what he described. Manually adding fuel would only make that flooding worse.

You mean you're really gonna leave us wondering how all that gas was leaving the front bowl? That said, glad you're running again!

I really don't know what was going on. It is running great now but all that f'ing around blew out the RTV on the back china wall and it is leaking real bad.
I also hope the cyliders didn't get washed down with gas from all the flooding.
I am going to take the intake off and fix the leak and hopefully I can find the root cause of the problem and will post what I find.
