Edelbrock Performer 2101 Intake Manifold
Having done some research it seems the "correct" intake gaskets would be the Edelbrock 7201 set. Right?
The Quadrajet base gasket is what's eluding me. Since it's a spread-bore manifold, no adapter is needed. And being in a Vette clearance is at a premium - but I see SO many different styles. ???
Since the Performer 2101 doesn't send any hot exhaust up the manifold to heat the carb, would this be the ticket?
What are all those 1/4 thick base gaskets all about anyway?
you make no mention of what intake manifold you are using
the carburetor gasket you listed is for a factory intake with a passage on the primary side for exhaust gas to heat the carb.

Sorry, It's an unfixable typo in the thread title - It's a Performer 2101 Manifold.
Since the Edelbrock 2101 has no exhaust gas up the manifold to the carb base, I also edited the rest of the post as well - including the proposed base gasket.
Thanks!
