Another cooler intake air tale :)
I was just out in the garage checking timing and connections...generally just doing simple maintanence. The 72 was idling and when I went to turn it off I noticed that the air/fuel gauge was hovering between 14/1 to 13.5/1. It usually shows about 12.5/1. The difference is...the hood was up. I closed the hood and two minutes later the gauge showed it's normal 12.5/1 at idle. Cooler air does make a difference. :) One of these days I will get a cowl induction hood. :cheers:
