Default Here is the stuff I removed today. 50lbs worth. :)

BEFORE

AFTER

I have a lot to paint as you can see, and also I'm re-wiring everything.

I'm re-doing the carpet and also Autometer gauges trimmed in brushed aluminum. :D

What is this "31" mean,?? I have an early '68, so much that it's built on a '67 chassis. Think maybe it might be the 31st Vette to be built??

Here is everything.

Here is my '91 I have a blown head gasket and pulled the intake off today as well. :mad

Here is the engine.

Corey, How long did it take to pull the intake on the C4? It seems to be that would be a mess to take a part, and tough to put back together. Is it as tough as it looks?

Looks like mine. Now all you need to do is take another step and remove the body. Your almost there anyway. Then you can sandblast and paint the frame. Get to all the suspension mods easier, etc. etc.

Should have repaied the AC. That WAS a very valuable option.

I had it off in an hour believe it or not. Between my '91 and my roommate's '85 I've dis-assembled a TPI probably 10-12 times. I had the Lingenfelter Super Ram on mine, built my friend's 383 then took it off and put my SR on. I know what has to come off first so it's not too bad.
Next step is removing the heads which I'm doing Monday after work.

Actually the car had a frame off about 10yrs ago, blasted, dipped, etc.. You can eat off the rear suspenion, in the 23yrs we've had the car (I'm 25yrs old) it's seen rain ONCE. The undercarrage is in really great shape.

True, but in the 25yrs of owning the car the ac was never used. All it was doing was taking up space and weight. I'm not building a Bloomington 100pt car, I'm building a azz kicker for the strret and track.

OK, then can I add you to my list of available contacts for info during my frame off?

I feel the same way about the AC, and the purpose of the car. I want my vette to be a performance car in the purest sense. OK....it will have a radio, but other than that I'm going for as light, and as fast as I can afford to make it. I have other cars with AC that I use as daily drivers.

Hey Corey;

Any chance you could take a closer picture of the blower motor area
since everything's out. Vettefixer mentioned a place where the seal
in that area gives out and the exhaust heat can come in and be sent
into the cockpit. He mentioned that the only way to see/feel it was
with your hand through where the kick plate goes...

Nice pictures...
