76 Seat Covers
My 76 needs new seat covers and I was wondering if anyone here has replaced theirs . I noticed Mid America has a video that explains how to do it. so I was thinking about replacing them myself since I can't find a shop in my area. I wanted to know if it was one of those thing better left to an interior shop or if I could do it myself.

I did my '75's seats two years ago and they came out real nice-spent about 6hrs on removing and replacing covers on each seat. Only thing I bought was the kit that has spare wires and hog rings. Sometimes in doing these seats you'll find broken wires or hog rings that need replaced. Also bought the "hog ring" pliers, which you don't have to have, they just make the job easier. You may have to purchase foam if you find yours is bad and crumbling, but it's available. Not hard to do, just don't rush it and take your time. :yesnod:
