I have adapted a set of C3 calipers onto a D44 TTB Ford axle that is in a Nissan Titan. Occasionally at low speeds through neighborhoods I can hear the brakes squeaking. When I press the peddle the noise goes away, but then comes back when I let off the brakes. I have greased the back of the pads, but that did not solve anything. The only thing holding the pads in is the pin that goes through both pads and a cotter pin. Is there more hardware I could be missing?

Brake pad squeal is usually caused by air in the calipers and the squeal you hear is caused by high speed vibration because of the air.
Hey there MW.....Just read your post and link for the brake anti squeal inserts and would like to know if the can be installed without having to remove the pads from the calipers??y??
