Whats this car worth
I just test drove this car tonight,
1973 T-top
350
4-speed [3504 made]
Wire wheel covers [1739 made]
Red exterior
Tan interior, leather seats "nice"
54,000 miles, Excellant running, driving car. VERY TIGHT, no rattles at all!
Air "works"
EVERYTHING works on the car.
Paint is excellant!
Interior is good, could use a new shift plate. Everything original, and in good shape, no cracks in the dash, VERY TIGHT!
New brakes, New U-joints, brake lines , exhaust.
I just test drove this car, and its the tightest "old" car that I've ever drove. I'm not a huge fan of hub caps, but there rare, and it gives it a differant look. Paint is excellant with only a couple small chips in the normal places, and a small crack in the nose about an inch long. NO, stress cracks or spiderwebbing anywhere else. Very sharp car.
The seller is asking $15,000. Is it worth that? This will be my first vette, and I'm hoping I could bring him down to around $12,500.

could be the right price or just a little too steep... this link brought up several '73's here in Cali that ranged from $5500 to $13,500.
I like your $12.5k offer.
BTW - the '73 is most desirable in smog states because it is the last year for minimal smog equipment (and testing exempt!).
