There was such thing as an original 16.5" wheel, but not on any car. Pickups used to run that size for awhile. Maybe is was the special option pickup wheel RPO. :D

I see it all the time - these are the actual exterior dimensions
or
it could be those experimental 16.5 inch wheels Chevy had to abandon when they found there were no 16.5 sport tires --- yep, you guessed it making the extremely RARE (and I'm sure MINT) :D :D :D :D
