My restomod on my 73 is moving along and I am getting close to installing new mufflers. I would like some recommendations. I don't want excessively loud until I put my foot in it, I like the tinny sound of the headers, with a low throaty sound out the rear. It seems everything right now is either Borla or Magnaflow. Anyone have any thoughts recommendations (also specific part name and numbers would be nice cause I weld and installed my own system, Thanks!
Everyone will have a different opinion of what they like in a muffler sound. I personally like the stainless magnaflows. Classic sound but not too loud. There are sound clips on the magnaflow site and youtube.
I got mine from a Corvette Specific vendor (I believe it was Corvette Central?) and not generic so the mounting tabs were already welded on.
