Hi Piet and welcome to the forum.

Targa means that the removable top is in one piece instead of the usual 2 sides that most C3 corvettes have which is called a T top.

Targa top: note that it is in one solid piece.





The typical C3 T Top. Note that there is a bar in the middle where both tops sit.
