Default Relocating e brake pulley for slip yoke clearance

Does anyone have a simple fix to move the pulley slightly? The e brake cable clears my 1310 slip yoke but it rubs on the bigger 1330 yoke I'm replacing it with. Can I just move the pulley outboard on the bracket and use a longer bolt? I know 1330 yokes came on some C3's, but this is a T56 swap car with a custom cross member, so I'm sure clearances differ from stock.

This ended up being a simple fix. The pulley can easily be relocated with a longer bolt, a spacer bushing and a couple of washers. I'll snap a pic after I go on a parts run.

Probably going to have the same problem with my 1350 yoke although running a Richmond which doesn’t stick any farther back in the tunnel.

I built a removable cross member from a 2x3 steel tube. I cut the bracket off the original cross member, and clamped the bracket about where I thought it should go and then test fit. Had to relocate it a couple of times, but it's right where it needs to be.

I've done this a couple of times. I just cut the bracket off the crossmember with a die grinder, position it so it clears the U-joint and the tunnel, and weld it back on. You will find the cable ends up being a little short after you do this. I made up a little extension bracket to make up the difference.

Here's how it turned out with my T56, custom cross member, 1330 slip yoke, 2.5" driveshaft, and safety loop. It is really tight in there. I would like to replace the washers with a bushing now that I have the sizings.

This was great help for my t56 project.

It's been a while, but if the OP is still active,
Did your exhaust pipes coming through the trans crossmember get close to the pulley?
If you have side pipes this obviously won't matter
