Default Fender Flares

With photobucket decimating many of the photo threads recently, I am looking for some photos of your fender flares along with type and where you got them. Tire and wheel dimensions to go with would be very helpful.

Looking at setting my 73 up with flares, but am thinking a small flare to fit a 315 or 305 wide tire with a racetech suspension. I might be looking at making the flares myself, but would rather purchase a kit if I like the looks.

Let's see what you got.

thanks

We have L88,

Pretty much the track flare, it does allow debris to get tossed on the car,
It has that racer look to me,

Lots of makers of these with the best price being on ebay, like 400.00 shipped,

There product is less than some overpriced vendors gouge for just shipping,

Then there is the ecklers named ZL1 or nicknamed " mudflap" flare,
These are the street custom look and keep trash off the car,

I happen to have a nos rear set for sale listed in the parts section,

At one time ecklers offered lots of designs

I am a big c3 flare fan but with the road race look being trendy lots of guys have flares so making your own or modding a flare to one off would be sweet,

Looks good.

I am thinking something similar to the green car in your photo. Very nice. I might want to go a bit narrower. Perhaps narrow enough, that if you didn't know what you are looking at, it would appear stock. Maybe I could mod an L88 flare to be what I am after. May have to mod the door to match a bit. Not sure.

I don't think the mud flap look is for me.

The PO installed these on my 68 convert. I think they are from Ecklers. I have 18 inch rims on the front and 20 inch on the back

335 rear tires on 13 inch wheels 6.5 bs with 2 inch adapters. I wanted to gain rear track width along with my 42% front and 58% rear weight bias. It make the rear very stable around turns. You could space the tires in or use a 315

With slicks

This is kinda what I bought out of Oregon years ago. I bought from 2-3 vendors before I found my semi mud flap style that were heavy fiberglass.

Just bought a set from Corvettemods, cost $515. Great looking product that comes with alignment tabs.
