Ravin Mufflers-Any Experience With?
I was in the reading room (Parts Department) at work today and ran across a catalogue from a company called Ravin. Their hype is pretty impressive but I was wondering if their product is as well. Anyone have any experience with their mufflers?

A guy at work replaced his dynomax's with them this summer. He didn't like the DM's because they were too loud :confused:
He likes the Ravins, quiet at idle, nice beefy growl at wot. He says he hasn't noticed ant difference in power.
I haven't heard them myself so take this for what it's worth.

I have never heard of them but they do claim a HP increase over FlowMasters and that twigged my interest. But you know this whole muffler is a real pig in a poke. You send ~$500.00 and they are too loud. You can't send them back...Sometimes I wish that I could find a muffler that was just a bit above stuff but not noisey. They must be one out there!

have the ravens on my 82 C.E., first on the stock 2-1-2 exhaust and now with the true duels. They sound great, ether way, (just a lot louder with the duels) and seem to be a quality made muffler. Dave :yesnod:

Ya I know I'm in the same boat, I've got side pipes on now but they need to be replaced. I want to change to duals with a decent muffler thats not obnoxiously loud, but will still growl. I'll have to ask my friend what he paid for them, they were installed at Midus in Kingston. Although I think it was an after hours "cash" deal.
