Rpm
Will RPM go up a bit, if you change to a light flywheel?
The reason I ask is, my did go up a bit in RPM. (changed to 23lbs flywheel)
I have very light springs in my HEI, I will try with other springs.

Yes, a lighter flywheel requires less torque to spin it so rpm will increase.

It will Rev up quicker when blipping the throttle. I don't think it'll change the rpm it will spin under load. Unless you have changed the valve springs, the valves will float at the same rpm they would have floated before. And believe me, you don' wanna find what rpm that is...

Google 'parasitic loss' and it will go into detail about how changing the weight on your flywheel affects your idle.
Basically the engine does not work as hard to spin the crankshaft so everything is a bit easier for it.
