Default Replace brake booster & heater core ?

I'm working on restoring the body for a body-off restoration for a 1980.

Since I have the dash completely out because I'm going to change the dash harness and engine harness, should I replace the brake booster ?

(I'm already planning to replace the master cylinder since its been open and exposed for quite some time).

I was thinking of also replacing the heater core, I removed the bottom 2 nuts and I see one more nut at the top. From what I read, there should be one last nut in the engine compartment for the top, but I can't find it, anybody have a pic showing it ?

thanks,
Richard

I'd do the heater core while the dash is out for sure... the booster maybe not so much. I'm kind of tossed on this because getting in there is not really all that hard. Two swivel sockets and two extensions and you can get on the nuts.

Here is the nut your looking for.

I'd replace the heater core since it's such a bitch to remove. Here's a picture of the nut you're looking for. It is under the fender. Tight quarters for sure. This pix is looking up from the bottom.

No brainer. Do it now. PITA later. Car is approaching 40 years old.
I did exactly this same work in the summer.
A/C Delco booster, rock auto, $100
GM NOS heater core from the "bay", $85.00 (Lucky find).
Get the new heater core seals from .......
Dynamat , and I sprayed sealer on the firewall seam. Stopped a few leaks into the cage.
The dash, take your time. Fit it all as you go.
