I'm on my first Vette too, I've had it two years this month. After I got it, I couldn't imagine why I waited so long.

Welcome to the best Vette place.

Thanks all for the welcome!

Jerry: No, my fathers name is Robert.

Scott78: Tell me about it - especially since I frequently hang out in the garage until 2-3am. My wife doesn't mind too much (for now at least) since she is having to share her car with me. My 5 yd old daughter is always trying to help. Sometimes those little fingers are just perfect, especially when working with those little screws in the gauges that my big fingers can't seem to grasp.

ericshaw: I'd love to put a 4spd in my vette, is that a 4spd manual or a 700R4? ;)

Cali,77,L-82: I'm already learning about the restoration devil. Fortunately I preempted him by cutting $450/month out of my budget when I traded my Acura in for the Vette :D

....that night the starter solenoid began a two week long troubleshooting hunt that I finally figured out. The simple accomplishment of replacing the starter....
Hey Chris,
I know what you mean about the starter... the solenoid on my went bad recently and before I know it was the starter, I thought it was a timing problem, or tourque converter, or some other major problme. Replaced the starter, and she started up with a greater kick then I had ever experienced!
