Thank You for the info. I will check it out. :D :chevy Did check the site out and printed off some instructions that will make the job a little easier.
Not that difficult at all. Carefully follow the directions, spread your parts out in order of their disassembly, and go slow. Balancing the valve after install is very important. GM service manual has the procedure. I just did mine and it will make a world of difference. Good Luck....

Welcome to the forum! Mine was literally pouring out of the valve, I bought the rebuild kit but upon inspection of the internal components, I opted to replace it (spool was corroded) If you follow the instructions it should go easy! If you get in trouble the forum will help. Good Luck
Put two repair kits, both worked for several months then leaked again, bought a new PS valve then a rebuild both worked and then leaked after 6 months, still elaks but very small amount, f@#$k it.
Just finished with my steering last nite. Got recond. valve and kit for cylinder.
Drove it around tonite a bit and no leaks. Still have to put some grease on ball joints. Tonite was just a test drive for hose fittings and seals. Follow directions on balancing cylinder with shaft disconnected. it will not be balanced no matter what the retailer says, they all have to be adjusted. Steve
