I would......if I knew that, now I know :- (
BTW this is not for my EZ-EFI car (69 Convertible), this is for my 69 Coupe.

So you're putting an electric fuel pump in the tank for a carburetor? What kind of fuel pressure is it going to be delivering?

Looks like no type of baffles to keep the pick up covered?
My .02 would be run a Bosch 044 external pump and C5 FPR unless you are running big HP. Don't have to cut a hole in the tank.
I used the 044 pump on a 427 LS motor and it worked great.
The 044 pump is not loud. You can hear it on start up but not going down the road.

It should not. I have a 1990 Cannister-type Bronco fuel pump in my 68 and it does not interfere.... and it seems to a lot larger than this thing he's showing us.

*****DISCLAIMER*****--- mine is directly below the normal gas filler hole....this may be being placed in the same general location as the travel path for the fuel float sender (if it's the same location as my 68).
BUT --- I would really suggest getting an 82 Sending Unit and adapting a cannister pump to it (unless of course, that fuel suction mat actually works so you don't lose suction?).
If nothing else, then just to be able to R&R without dropping the fuel tank I would use the 82 sending unit assembly. I made my own fuel pump sender but I really should have just modified an 82 sending unit to hold my cannister pump.
