Does anyone have a pic of a 71 Bridgehampton Blue car they can post? I'm going to look at a car tomorrow that is black now, but originally was Bridgehampton Blue, and I wanted to get a good idea of what that color looks like.
Re: 1971 Bridgehampton blue pic please? (Neo Fender)
This is what I'm going to look at tomorrow:
Neo,
This is what I'm going to look at tomorrow:
Black (10 year old paint originally Bridgehampton Blue) Convertible, #s matching 350, PS, PB, great chrome, 117k miles, excellent mechanical condition, all suspension, brakes, steering components gone over and replaced. Owner says he has $17k in the car.
They guy is asking 16.5k
What do you think of that price vs. what it should be? I'm a little nervous about the 117k miles. should I be?
I recently looked into a '70 Mulsanne Blue Roadster with about the same mileage. It was originally a big block car but the engine was replaced with a small block (why oh why) from "another Corvette". If I recall correctly, the owner was asking $15,995.
I wouldn't sweat 117,000 miles as long as the drivetrain is in good shape. That is not unreasonable for a 30 year old Corvette and it's much more credible than many "low mileage" cars that you see for sale. $16.5 is a little high, IMO but then again, that's just an asking price.
