Od swap
After reading many post, it was apperant that a od trans was what I needed. Here are the prices and information I have. I`m going from a Th400 to a Th200-4r. Steve from Bowtie overdrives was very helpful on all parts needed.
1. used trans 86 Cutlass- $150
2. Tci rebuild kit & valve body mods-$239
3. wiring kit, shifter conversion, yoke, line kit, tv cable kit, speedo gears & pressure gauge for tv set up - $ 528.
Doing all work myself the cost will be $1000-$1100. No driveshaft or crossmember mods are needed with this swap. Can hardly wait for the rest of my parts to get here. I,ll post more after the swap. :D
