These guys

https://americanracingheaders.com/pr...swap-1968-1982

the downside for me was mechanical clutch linkage which these headers interfere with

You should be able to find some experience with people on the forum if you search a bit. These are not sidepipes however - I think there is another supplier for that but am not totally sure. Be sure to check ground clearance!

I don't think those will work...
They need to go straight down and out behind the front tire like the BBC versions below...
Maybe the flange on these can be cut off and replaced with an LS flange. Not sure the BBC heads have the same spacing/bolt pattern though??

$$$Billy Boat$$$
Looks like they have side pipe systems for small and big block but for LS conversions, only under car headers.

They don't have the same spacing or bolt pattern , but they are close , an experienced welder ,fabricator could do it .

Wow! Thanks Bazza77...That's exactly what I was looking for! I guess with that much of a difference that simply swapping flanges won't work. It appears one would have to cut and re-section BBC sidepipes to reach the flange of an LS style flange.

I am surprised no aftermarket header companies like Doug's doesn't make them as an LS swap is so common.

Thanks!

GordonM here on the forum used his car as the mule for ARH. Hit him up as he will have some info for you.

Call Josh at CIC. I bought these from him. These are stainless steel. I looked into the bbc header option and for the price of a big block set, ls flanges, pipe, time spent mocking up and paying a welder (I don't have the time right now to learn) to weld them only to likely have it obvious that they were cut and fitted (which I don't mind too much if the welds can be somewhat hidden) I couldn't justify doing it myself. These came from billyboat. O2 bungs well placed.

Both.....I ordered from CIC and it looks like they ordered from billyboat. They have a billyboat badge on them. I ordered a lot of stuff through Josh at CIC because he was able to direct me on a few things and very very helpful when it came to a few work arounds with my swap.
