Default Holley center carb question.

I picked up a couple of holley 4055 center tri-power carbs. Actually, they look very nice and don't look like they were ever taken apart. Both dated early 68 ish. They have 4055-1 stamped on them. But, I don't see the vent on the top of the fuel bowl as you would in a 68 or 69 center carb. The bowls look like the 67 version.

So, I am not a Holley expert of any kind. Any idea what is going on.

Thanks, Terry

my guess someone striped the fuel inlet filter fitting threads and replaced the bowls with what was available
