Knoxville Vettefest
I am going to be in the area, well actually a couple of hours away, on the weekend of the show and would like to pop over for a day, which day is there the most cars in the sales corral, and at the best prices :D

I'm going to go on Saturday the 26th. I always go on Saturday. There might be a few bargins on Sunday but I like Saturday much better.The selection is better and you have all day to shop. A lot of the Vendors have a long trip ahead and start loading early to go home.
This is always a very good show and I have a good time looking and enjoying the great cars displayed and the many parts and cars for sale. It is the best swap meet in the South for Corvette parts and many of the good vendors participate year after year and in the same spot so you can rely on what you buy from them as a repeat customer. Where in Knoxville Will it be I live in Rockwood and Would love to go. I live in Rockwood 45 miles away so it would be a good ride up 70 from Kingston. I got my Vette 3 months ago (77 White) and was only going to drive it on weekends,but I can't seem to not drive it every day. :)

Bully, (Garland) if you can get to the Knoxville Zoo you can get to the show. If you go on Saturday there will be boatloads of people. It is a good time. I have been going since 96 when I got my first vette.

Eddie 96I have been going since 96 when I got my first vette.
Gosh, You have just made me realize that I have been going since 1982. This is my 20th year.................
I remember going when it was in a big Tobacco Barn that was about 20 acres big inside. They would line up the Vendors 18 wheeler trucks inside and it was all under roof. That's been a long time....................JIM :yesnod: :lol:

Does anyone have suggestions on where to stay? on the webpage there are alot of motels listed are any better than others?
