going to pull the 350. i know you have to unbolt bellhousing from block,
dont you have to go in thru service plate to disconnect flywheel from torque
converter? its been 20 or so yrs. since i pulled a motor and that was in my mopar. any other words of wisdom would be great thanks :smash:

Yes, you'll need to unbolt the flywheel from the converter. There are 6 bolts(9/16 I think) holding the tranny to the block. Even after removing all the bolts you may have a difficult time separating the block----at least I did. There are two dowels also connecting the block & the tranny. After so many years together mine didn't want to part! :lol:
I had to tap the tranny with a 2x4 to finally separate them.
Also, you might want to, just as you are sliding them apart, take the time to crawl under the car and take like a piece of wire and put across the converter so it does not fall out and off. :seeya
