It's 'steeriods' with two 'e's. It ia a aftermarket rack and pinion steering set-up that gives you better steering. Do a search int he archives under 'steeriods' and you will find mucho info on it.

Steroids are anabolic hormones that give you muscle bulk, excessive hair, and heart attacks.
Like Fevre said, it's a bolt on R&P steering system.
