Default Sequential or robotized transmission

Do you think it's possible to fit on a C3 a sequential or robotized transmission?

Yes, it is one of the very doable swaps if you can get all the correct bell housing for your block etc. I was seriously looking into several models in my motor TQ range.

The way I looked at it was the TKO 600 kit was about $5700 with the 1000 hp clutch, blow proof bell housing, SFI 11.5 pound aluminum flywheel, the big U-joint chromoly steel drive shaft. I already have all good rear end parts and all the drive shaft safety loops.........

So sequential transmissions were anywhere from $8000 to $10,000 for what I needed. So on the money end it was easy to justify.

I worked at a road racing car shop and I get to rebuild various transmissions and transaxles. That is one bad point of clutch less sequential shifting boxes. You are going to be repairing them depending on how well you are able to rpm match your shift points and the power applied to the gear sets.

So my deciding factor was that even though I know how to shift them, I did not want to be pulling the tranny periodically to repair it.

I've been stranded with my vette broken 1000Km from home before and it sucks to figure out how to trailer it home for a repair.
