75 Rear Suspension Upgrade-Options???

75 Rear Suspension Upgrade-Options???
As a "newbie" to this forum, let me say that I'm amazed at the amount of truely useful info contained here and in the archive, also the large number of knowlegable C3 enthusiasts.
I am fixing up a "pastured" 75. I want to end up with a modified car w/ improvements to handling. I'm looking for a stiff but controlled ride. To that end I purchased the VBP Performance Plus system. I think that adequately takes care of the front. Now for the rear I would like to have some further upgrades.
I would like to know what is out there, and what people would recommend.
Before a lot of old topics get rehashed, let me list what I've come across (I did some homework.
1.) Guldstrand 5-bar Rear suspension
2.) Variations of the 6-link
a) Tom's Differentials
b) Dragvette
c) 6-link like Stingray74's of Norval's photos
3.) C4 rear suspension - requires frame modifications.
Did I miss anything? I guess I would like peoples opinion on what might mix best w/ the VBP suspension up front. I'll pay the $$$$ for the Guldstrand item if it will give me what I want, but I don't want to buy it blind.
Now that idea of combining the 6 link and the 5 bar suspension definately has me intrigued. That would look very trick.
