Default AC heat vaccum

Questions on my 73 vacuum. Everything I have read talks about a vacuum tank/reservoir and I can’t find one on mine. I have 3 separate systems, one to the brakes, headlights and heat/ac. The headlights are converted to electric and the brakes work fine. With that said in testing the heat/ac with a source in the input should I have a reading at all positions on the selector.

The vacuum tank on your 73 is made into the header bumper support as shown in the picture below. This vacuum tank is made as part of the bumper reinforcement and the nipples on the ends are sub-septical to plugging up or leaking.... so you should pull a vacuum on the nipples shown in the picture below with a migty vac... and see if the tank is holding...
