Flow- Masters
What do you guys think about flowmaster mufflers. There very loud, I don't really mind that.but are they really worth the sound? Are they really adding that much more power?

Power no sound yes. Headers add noticeable power not mufflers.

So no more power. I have a C5Z with titanium mufflers. Is there another muffler system thats quiter and will fit on the C3? And will it provide more power?

I put up with series 40 on my stock exhaust for a couple of years, then installed magnaflows. Never regretted it. Much better, not so loud, not such a tin-canny sound like the flowmasters....

When I got my 73 it had flow masters on a 355 crate motor with headers and 2 1/2 inch pipes. Way to loud for me, replaced with stock mufflers and didn't notice a lot of difference in power.

Different car 70 chevelle 396 headers had 40 series flow masters , way to much drone changed to 50 series delta flow flow masters much better, no drone to speak of still loud but i can live with it , sounds like a muscle car the 50 series have three chamber baffles in them . .

Went with cc n11 on my 66 350 hp , did not think about magnaflows at the time,i like the off the road exhaust on my 66 it sounds like what it think a corvette should sound like, exhaust is a personal thing don,t know if there is a right or wrong answer, my 70 chevelle is loud but i think it fits the car for that era.

Flowmasters have an interesting sound, but the more commonly used ones are not the best design for flow. Magnaflow types (which include Dynomax Ultra Flows and the Borla Pro XS that I have on my car) are a much higher flowing design and actually tend to be a little less drone-y vs Flowmaster 40 series.
