Default 1976 buckskin interior

I was confused on what the factory colors were for the buckskin interior, what is supposed to be dark brown? What is supposed to be buckskin?

In my 1976 the only thing dark brown were the cut pile carpets and the dash pad.

Everything else was buckskin - console, door panels etc. I think there is an interior picture in my photo album of my 76.

My white 76 had a buckskin leather interior, 642, and it was a light brown. You might check Corvette America or other vendors to get a comparison of what buckskin looks like. Dark brown interior was also available in 76 but had a different code number, 692.

Stock76 is right, the dash pad was a darker brown.

1976 bucksin interior is a lighter color almost like cardboard.
1976 brown is a dark brown.

Here is the carpet sample page from our website that shows the differences.

It should be your carpet, upper dash pad and steering wheel. Here are a couple of pics from my 17K mile 1976 with 64V interior for reference.

Hope this helps!

Regards,

Dave

I forgot about those darn two tone interiors in 76... That just complicates everything too...

Light seats, light door panels, light lower dash pads, dark upper pad and dark carpet...
