O.K. fuel is wicking out of top of carb and top gasket,
A:rebuild it? is this a reasonably succesful endeavor?
B:replace it? with what?
I have more time than money this week, so I'm leaning at rebuilding it, where do I locate the P/N on the carb.
let me know what you guys think
Thanks again
Mine was doing the same thing - sort of weeping all over. I had never rebuilt one before and it was not difficult. I did not get into rejetting and other technical modifications which I am sure takes much more skill. Take your time and stay organized. The parts were approx. $40 (I put in a new float -$12, which did not come with the kit.) I can't recall where the carb number is, I think on the drivers side or back of the carb stamped vertically but someone here can supply you with that info. I vote to rebuild. Good luck
