Go to your local GM service department and ask if they have any mechanics over 55 years old. That is the man you want working on your car and over 60 would be better.

If you have some basic wrench turning skills, you can always use you tube for instructions on routine maintenance.....Oil changes, plug changes, brakes, shocks ,belts can also be uploaded on you tube if you are not sure.....
Like I said, SBC are pretty straight forward and not difficult to work on.....Just take your time.....If removing parts and your not sure, take a lot of photos first with your phone before removing...
