C3 Corvette
I have a Rochester carburetor on my C3vet 350 engine just put a brand new engine in it was running great let it sit for a week or two now my carburetor bogs out when I hit the gas I have the same carburetor on my El Camino what could be wrong is it cuz I have a Rochester carb lol ???

Naw it ain't cuz you got a q-jet. The accelerator pump in the carb is starting to fail. It has 2 positions it can be set in, if it is in the short throw position move it to the longer stroke position. Note; when driving the pin out DO NOT drive it all the way to the carb body, leave enough room to allow for a small screw driver for pushing the pin back in. Or just replace the accelerator pump and if you really want a great job send it to Lars for rebuilding. T
